A day tour to Chichen Itza while in the Riviera Maya is a full day experience. The history and buildings make going to Chichen Itza a wonderful experience. There are also other stories since then about how history has impacted the location. While I do not recommend this tour for kids younger than say 8. We definitely think it is highly worth it to spend a day in the Yucatan.
