The Tulum Ruins Sailing Tour is legendary.
When visiting the Riviera Maya it is on most everyone’s list of ruins not to miss.
The Riviera Maya is also famous for turtle snorkeling, so what is the most legendary way to see both, the Tulum Ruins and Turtles? From the ocean of course!
There is nothing like seeing the impact of the ruins just as the Mayans did from the blue waters of the Caribbean ocean.
How do we go sailing in front of the Tulum Ruins? We have 6 different hobie cats that each fit up to 6 people.
We depart from Tulum beach on a 3 hour sailing and turtle snorkel tour.
We offer various timings for your group.
First we sail from our meet up point to in front of the ruins where you can take pictures or just enjoy the view.
Then we continue to sail about 15 minutes to the north where we anchor and allow you to jump into the water and snorkel for 45 to an hour.
Here although we can never promise, nature always seems to draw turtles to the beautiful crystal clear waters and you can experience seeing turtles in the wild doing their thing.
We ask always that while you snorkel and see fish, mana rays and turtles you stay a respectful distance and just be present.
Kids over 5 are welcome but must be good swimmers. We provide life vests, and mask for the group.
Aboard the boats we offer water and there are bathrooms.
Hobie cats are smaller and they do not offer a lot of shade from the sun so don’t forget to bring a sun hat, a rash guard or please only reef-safe sunscreen.
After the snorkel we will leisurely sail back passing the Ruins again on our way back to the Tulum Beach.
There we will enjoy an agua fresca and a taco snack.
