What type of Turtles are in the Riviera Maya?

In this region the most common turtles are the Green Turtle and the Loggerhead turtles.

Their nesting season is June thru August. In October of every year we have the Turtle Festival for the liberation of the babies born during nesting season.

what to Bring on Your Turtle Swimming Tour ?

We always recommend water shoes as they are a good choice. We offer life vests, mask and snorkel included. We have brand new mouth pieces for $10 usd if wanted. We ask that you bring towels and a change of clothes for the lunch stop if you would like. If you pick an ATV tour please bring a clothes toed shoes and a bandana if you like.
